El concepto de animal en la filosofía de Gilles Deleuze

This paper starts with the systematization of the deleuzian way of thinking the animal displayed on A thousand plateaus�s chapters �On geology of moral� and �Becoming-intense, becoming-animal, becoming-imperceptible�. Analyzing the concepts presented there, it establishes the main principles of the deleuzian way of thinking the animal (the organic stratum, its rules of composition, and the distinction between oedipal, symbolic and intense animals). From that moment on, this paper raises a comparative analysis with the heideggerian way of thinking the animal (as characterized in Heidegger�s The Fundamental Concepts of Metaphysics: World, Finitude, Solitude), prompted by the opposite readings by both philosophers of Jakob Von Uexküll�s key concepts on ethology (mainly the environment [Umwelt] concept). At this counterpoint we will point out that while the heideggerian way of thinking the animal conceives it as a poor-in-world entity, the ontology displayed in A thousand plateaus allows a non-anthropomorphical interpretation of animality, which postulates the reunion between Being and Nature in a single plane. From there on, we will show the direction for a future way of thinking the animal, one that does not tear apart human and animal by means of an essential and insurmountable difference.El artículo comienza con la sistematización del pensamiento deleuzeano del animal presente en los capítulos �La geología de la moral� y �Devenir-intenso, devenir-animal, devenir-imperceptible� de Mil mesetas. A partir de los conceptos allí presentes establece las líneas fundamentales de la concepción deleuzeana de lo animal (el estrato orgánico, sus reglas de composición y la distinción entre los animales edípicos, simbólicos e intensos). A partir de ello aborda una comparación con la conceptualización heideggeriana del animal tal como es caracterizada en Los conceptos fundamentales de la metafísica: mundo, finitud, soledad, motivada a causa de las lecturas enfrentadas de ambos filósofos de los conceptos clave de la etología del biólogo Jakob Von Uexküll (en particular el concepto de mundo circundante [Umwelt]). En este contrapunto señalaremos que allí donde el pensamiento heideggeriano sostiene una concepción del animal como pobre de mundo, la ontología desplegada en Mil Mesetas permitirá una interpretación no-antropomorfizante de lo animal, la cual postula la reunión de ser y naturaleza en un mismo plano. A partir de ella indicaremos la dirección que se abre para el futuro pensamiento de una concepción de lo animal ya no apartada de lo humano por una diferencia esencial insalvable
