Rousseau: Desigualdad y Educación

This article is the result of a study about childhood and children�s education. In the first place, the present article presents some aspects related to the conception of nature, in order to understand the problems of equality and inequality posed by Rousseau, to the society of his time, as well as to ours. In the second place, the article highlights how the concept of property becomes a main condition for government; and how this issue imposes an idea of justice, labor, and law. In the third place, this study explains how the idea of development and progress is articulated to that of government. Which leads to the final point: how the general issues concerning the notion of nature and society, developed in Emile, formulate the fundamental principles and general criteria for the natural conception of children in the field of education.En este artículo, producto de la investigación sobre la formación del niño y de la infancia, se establece en primer lugar, algunos elementos referenciales sobre la concepción de naturaleza para entender la problemática que Rousseau le planteaba a la sociedad de su época y en perspectiva a la nuestra sobre el principio de igualdad - desigualdad. En segundo lugar, se señala cómo la noción de propiedad se convierte en una condición determinante de gobierno y cómo esta cuestión introduce una idea de justicia, de trabajo y de ley. En tercer lugar, se muestra cómo se articula la idea de desarrollo y de progreso a la idea de gobierno. Para mostrar por último, cómo las cuestiones generales relativas a la noción de naturaleza y de sociedad, son desarrolladas en el Emilio para formular los fundamentos y criterios centrales de la concepción natural del niño en el campo de la educación
