The dignification of university teaching now seems resounding in an unfavorable context both internally and externally. Trying to find ways out of solving it, from a perspective of democratic professionalism, constitutes an undeniably problematic focal point. We methodologically inquire into the lack of training of non-university teachers, specifically on the relationship between theory and practice, revealing how research can become a substantial nexus between both of them, which is valid to regenerate the training of nonuniversity teachers, but also a projective source for the consideration of the university teaching activity as a full academic work.
