Due to the progressive aging of the population, the symptomatic severe aortic stenosis is a pathology that has an increased prevalence in our environement. Although the election treatment is surgery, these very elderly patients present associated co-morbidity which may increase the surgical risk. We present results of our experience and describe our own care protocol. Between 2008 April of and 2009 January, we made percutaneous implantation of aortic prosthesis (Corevalver ®) in 29 patients. The selection criteria were clinical and anatomical (diameters of the plane to valvular and iliofemoral access way).
