• Objetive: Describe the patient’s perspective of what it means to suffer from a Myocardial Infarction and the strategies to cope with daily live activities. • Méthods: descriptive qualitative study based on phenomenology perspective. Patients recruited were: aged from 30 to 60 years, who had a Myocardial Infarction, attended in Hospital Sant Pau and treated with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) A number of 11 patients were enrolled; all them were asked to participate into the study and appointed for a semi structured interview that takes place in 1 to 3 months after hospital discharge.
