General aim of this work has been Bronze Age settlement dynamics study inside a Sardinian historical region – Gallura. A comparison among data from coastal northwestern area and mountainous central area has been made. Basic data have been got by using descriptive geographical variables (morphological, geological, pedological and hidrographical ones). New topographical indexes related to site, emplacement (Geomorphological Unit) and surrounding area (Geomorphological Unit) have been analysed by Multivariate Statistical Methods. Visibility, defence, reachability and strategical control have been considered not only by the results of this statistical study but also by using GIS methodologies (Viewshead and Observer Point according to ArcGIS 9....
