The teaching planning is a key competence in pre-service mathematics teachers that requires the development of skills to teach. This paper focuses on the perception of training needs, related to planning. A qualitative study was developed using an interpretive theoretical perspective. The data was obtained from six mathematics education teachers, and 27 pre-service mathematics teachers. It was used interview and survey to collect information.
