This article focuses and analyzes the multiplicity of lesbian, bisexual and transgender women and their marginalized identities. These women can be recognized as the pièce de résistance of democracy, since the exclusions to which they are subjected can be markers of citizenship not yet achieved. When considering such situation, the article reflects on the place of women in Communication, still underrepresented and allocated in little prestigious activities. Observing this scenario, far from a context of democratic media, questions the place of lesbians, bisexuals, transsexuals, from the dialogue between feminist studies and the analysis of television series such as Orange Is The New Black among others.
