The sport selection in the current moments, as a part of Sport for All, claims of the investigators of this sphere to apply new procedures that allow assuring the sport reserves for the next Olympic cycles. Starting from here, this study is designed to deal with the specialization stage in Basketball, as a part of the sport selection system. The investigation was sustained essentially in the population's characterization obtained by means of the development of the project "Sport Potentials" that is carried out by the Applied Sciences to the Mountain Sport Studies and Research Center, from the Faculty of Physical Culture in Granma and from the community it set out the purpose to determine technical, anthropometrics and physical indicators with its percentile values.La selección Deportiva en los momentos actuales, como parte del Deporte para Todos, reclama de los investigadores de esta esfera aplicar nuevos procedimientos que permitan asegurar la reserva deportiva para los próximos ciclos olímpicos.
