The arctic region presents itself as a place of coexistence between some of the biggest superpowers of the world, most of them in diplomatic tension since the last century. Nonetheless, despite the increasing number of conflicts in other regions, arctic cooperation keeps stable and solid. What explanation can we find to this situation?
