In this paper the application of uncertainty and risk analysis concepts in reservoir simulation to select the optimal exploitation strategy for a sector model of Tibú field are shown. For that, it was necessary to do a sensitivity analysis to static model of reservoir in order to identify and prioritize the uncertainty variables that more affect the reservoir simulation model. Subsequently it was performed an automatic and probabilistic history matching involving selected uncertainty variables. Finally, it was defined the optimal exploitation strategy from optimization under uncertainty conditions process, involving the risk management.
