In the present work we intend to explore the way in which Nicholas of Cusa uses the notion of concordance, in relation to the conciliar movement, and primary, but not exclusively, to the use of certain key concepts in De Concordantia Catholica. The proposed work involves thinking the author within the framework of the temporary tensions to understand well the subtlety of his thought. The itinerary start from a conceptualization of contextual nuclear problems, and then tackling concrete manner, in the work mentioned, three issues identified: the idea of the one in the multiple, the conception of the ascending power, and the relationship between church-papacy and papacy-empire, based on the criticism of the plenitudo postestatis and, finally,...
