Incidencia del deporte en la formación y desarrollo de la identidad nacional

The practice of several forms that can be considerate “pre-sports” in the process of Cuban nationality formation allows to establish how these have expressed a distinction with regard to foreign preferences. On the base of several surveys to students, teachers and other people it was appreciated the interest the sport and its exponents have in the paradigm conception of the current Cuban. If this factors are adequate spreading, both athletes and patriots, it is been consolidating not only the Cuban identity but also there will be a best integration of the physical exercises to the dairy life and an essentials human values strengthening. However, the usual treatment by the media, in the Sports Museum's its presence and the inclusion limited of these in other institutions responsible with the local and Cuban history, don’t help the acceptance of them; this can open, during the neoliberalism, globalization and crisis times, a way to weaken the membership and Cuban identity feels. With the intention of changing this situation this work expects offer some ideas to improve the sport promotion as a singular factor in the identity and the necessity to pay adequate attention to the places aimed to the conservation and promotion of the heritage.La práctica de varias formas que pueden considerarse «predeportivas» en la formación de la nacionalidad cubana permite establecer cómo estas han expresado una distinción con respecto a preferencias foráneas. Sobre la base de varias encuestas a estudiantes, profesores y la población se apreció el interésque tiene el deporte y sus exponentes en la concepción de un paradigma nacional distintivo del cubano actual. Si se hace una adecuada divulgación deestos factores, tanto de las figuras atléticas como de los próceres, se estaráconsolidando no solo de la identidad nacional sino habrá una mejor integracióndel ejercicio físico a la vida diaria y un fortalecimiento de valores humanosesenciales. Sin embargo, el tratamiento usual en los medios su presencia en losMuseos del Deporte y la escasa inclusión de estos en otras instituciones responsabilizadas con la conservación de la historia local y cubana no favorece la asunción de los mismos, esto puede favorecer, en tiempos de neoliberalismo, globalización y crisis, una vía para debilitar los sentimientos de pertenencia e identidad patria. En aras de cambiar esa situación este trabajo pretende ofrecer un grupo de ideas que favorezcan la promoción del deporte como un factor singular de la identidad y la necesidad de prestar adecuada atención los sitos destinados a la conservación y promoción del patrimonio
