Modelación del crecimiento y desarrollo morfológico de la leucaena leucocephala en un agroecosistema silvopastoril

The dynamic of growing and morphologyc development of Leucaena leucocephala cv. Ipil Ipil was studied in acomplete blocks design with four repetitions during the establishment in an agroecosystem of trees that the eaten by animals from july 1998 to august 1999. Height (H), total production of dry mass (RMST) leaves (RH) and branches (RT), and the relationship among them, number of leaves and branches per plant were measured in a 42 days frequency. All the variables were statistically analyzed were tested by the logystic, Gomperts, Richards, cubic polynomy and logarytmic models.To estimate the parameters the minimum square method was used for the lineal models, and in the case of the non-linear models Marquart (1963) method was used. The Richard model showed the best adjustment for total dry mass production and height was: RMST=211.16/(l+735.09e-0.051 t) H=210.29/(l+4.778e-0.003 t)3. El RH y RT varied (p<0.001) with the age, the variation was between 1.0 a 57.6 y 0.41 170 gMS/per plant for 42 and 336 days respectibly. This relationship among them was non benefitiable starting at 168 after planting. Number of leaves and branches per plant varied (p<0.001) with the age. The potentiality of the models to analyze the growing in development in this species is under discussion as well as the definition of the moment to start harvesting ander litely plantatium desings.En un diseño de bloques al azar con cuatro replicaciones se estudió la dinámica crecimiento y desabollo morfológico de Leucaena leucocephala cv. Ipil Ipil durante el establecimiento en un agroecosistema silvopastoril en el período de julio 1998 a agosto del 1999. Se midió con una frecuencia de 42 días la altura (H), rendimiento de masa seca total (RMST), de hojas (RH), tallos (RT) y la relación entre ellos el número de hojas y ramas por planta. Todas las variables se analizaron estadísticamente y se probaron los modelos: Logístico, Gompertz. Richards, Polinomio cúbico y el Logarítmico. Para la estimación de los parámetros se utilizó el método de los mínimos cuadrados para los modelos lineales y en el caso de los no lineales el método de Marquart (1963).Los modelos que mostraron mejor ajuste para el rendimiento de masa seca total y la altura fueron: RMST=211.16/(l+735.09e-0.051 t) H=210.29/(l+4.778e-0.003 t)3. El RH y RT variaron (p<0.001) con la edad, con valores entre 1.0 a 57.6 y 0.41 a 170 gMS/planta para 42 y 336 días, respectivamente, cuya relación entre ellos fue más desfavorable a partir de los 168 días de sembrada.
