Objective: to identify the problems experienced by people with hearing problems in health services and the importance of nurses' communication with deaf patients interfere with the quality of care. Methods: this is a literature, descriptive, qualitative approach, exploratory, held at the Biblioteca Virtual de Saude (LILACS and BDENF). After data collection was conducted exploratory reading, selective, critical and thematic analysis.
