Introduction: In Colombia, Cancer has been declared as a public health prioritysince 2010. The cervical cancer keeps being an illness with a high prevalence.Although there is a high coverage in the country and there are prevention programs,based on the uterine cytology, there is still the impact of the developedcountries to achieve, resulting in difficulties on the screening for cervical cancer.The aim of this study is to evaluate an improvement plan effectiveness inthe screening for cervical cancer at the Santa Barbara Hospital (Medellin, Ant.)Materials and methods: Quasi-experimental study, ambi-directional.
