In the last years, the number of distributed generation units integrated in the distribution systems has been increasing. Under this new scenario, the distribution network stop being a passive network and therefore, the traditional power flow calculation methods must be modified. This paper presents a three phase unbalanced power flow algorithm with Distributed Generation. The IEEE 34 bus test system was used to validate the proposed algorithm and to show the effect of the DG in the distribution networks.
