El humor como un instrumento de comunicación no siempre cómico

The aim of the paper is to re-analyze the structure of linguistic joke from the point of view of cultural linguistics (Palmer 2000, Wilk-Racięska 2012), understood as a multidimensional research system which, depending on the phenomenon under investigation uses various tools. This time we will use semantic, syntactic, pragmatic and cognitive tools. In the first place, we will outline the aims and the tools of cultural linguistics’ methodology as presented in Wilk- -Racięska (2012) and the definitions of terms as humor, joke, etc. (Vigara 2013). The Raskin (1986, 2015) theory will be the analysis’s starting point. Taking into account the Raskin’s outline of a joke construction, we will try to analyze the internal structure of linguistic jokes and define selections of those jokes as seen as communicative acts, according to their semantic-syntactic, socio-pragmatic and pragmatic-cognitive features.El objetivo del presente artículo es reanalizar la estructura del chiste lingüístico en los términos de la lingüística cultural como la entienden Palmer (2000) y Wilk-Racięska (2012). Esta variante de lingüística cultural es una teoría de carácter multidimensional y sus métodos se originan en distintas ramas científicas. Siendo destinada a investigar de un modo complejo los fenómenos lingüísticos debidos a la evolución de las lenguas naturales, contactos entre lenguas y fenómenos que oscilan entre lengua, cultura y sociedad, la lingüística cultural enfoca tres perspectivas lingüísticas principales: semántica, pragmática y lingüística cognitiva. En el estudio que proponemos a continuación presentaremos, en primer lugar, los objetivos y la metodología de la lingüística cultural y las definiciones de los términos cruciales para este artículo, tales como humor, chiste, etc., como los entiende Vigara Tauste (2013). El punto de salida del análisis será la teoría de Raskin (1986, 2015). Teniendo en cuenta el esquema de la construcción del chiste lingüístico propuesto por Raskin, intentaremos analizar la estructura interna de tales chistes y delimitar, por sus características semántico-sintácticas, socio-pragmáticas y pragmático-cognitivas, los tipos de chistes como actos comunicativos
