Proactive behavior is a set of extra role behaviors in which the worker spontaneously seeks for change in his work environment, solves and anticipates problems, aiming long-term goals that benefit the organization. This paper investigates the relationship between personal values and proactive behavior in organizations. A survey was conducted using the Personal Values Questionnaire and the Proactive Behavior in Organizations Scale, both validated in Brazil. After outlier deletion, 325 employees answered the questionnaire.
