La juventud y la época: Temeridad y cobardía. patologías de la individualización en el joven contemporáneo

En el presente artículo se revisa el concepto de juventud desde diferentes ángulos teóricos, se examinan los procesos psíquicos que se dan durante esta etapa vital. Se reconoce lo particular de la época contemporánea para contextualizar la situación del joven como sujeto que responde a las condiciones del discurso del presente. Finalmente, se enumeran y revisan las patologías psíquicas de la juventud de hoy a nivel individual, así como en la conformación de la pareja y en el establecimiento del grupo familiar.This paper reviews the youth concept from different theoretical views. It examines the psychological processes occurred during this important stage of life and the particular facts of the contemporary time to put into context the position of the young person as a subject that responds to the requirements of the current discourse.
