This research paper shows the results of a study which objectives were to compare a means of received and perpetrated violence among people who live with and do not live with a partner, between both genders, and to study the relationship between received and perpetrated violence. For this study a questionnaire of violence against the partner was given to a non-random sample of 223 women and 177 men with heterosexual partner, showing that 48,5 % are married, or cohabiting men and 51,5 %, are boyfriends.
