The search for articles was in in the period of september to december 2016. The search was in Pubmed, Science Direct, Ebscohost and Google Scholar. 23 articles were selected following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. It was found that in pregnancy and vaginal delivery the pelvic floor may be affected by structural changes and contribute to the presence of urinary incontinence (UI).
