Entrenamiento del suelo pélvico en incontinencia urinaria durante el embarazo y postparto vaginal

The search for articles was in in the period of september to december 2016. The search was in Pubmed, Science Direct, Ebscohost and Google Scholar. 23 articles were selected following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. It was found that in pregnancy and vaginal delivery the pelvic floor may be affected by structural changes and contribute to the presence of urinary incontinence (UI). UI in pregnancy is present from 17% to 25% . After delivery from 36% to 67%. Stress urinary incontinence is the type of incontinence we find in these stages. The non-invasive treatment for this problem is the performance of contractions that improvemuscle strength. There are studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training (PFT) as a treatment of urinary incontinence in pregnancy and postpartum vagina.Se realizó una búsqueda de artículos en el período de septiembre a diciembre de 2016. La búsqueda fue a través de Pubmed, Science Direct, Ebscohost y Google Académico. Se seleccionaron 23 artículos siguiendo los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se encontró que en el embarazo y el parto vaginal el suelo pélvico puede verse afectado debido a los cambios estructurales y contribuir a la presencia de incontinencia urinaria (IU). La IU en el embarazo puede presentarse de 17 a 25% y en postparto vaginal de 36% a 67%. El tipo de incontinencia presente en estas etapas es la incontinencia urinaria de esfuerzo. El tratamiento no invasivo para esta problemática es la realización de contracciones que favorezcan la fuerza muscular.
