This article reviews the history of political and socio-economic marginalization of the ethnic group that inhabits the San Andrés and Providencia Archipelago, as well as the social and political vindications of ethnic groups in the scenario of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) in the alliance with the group Sons Of the Soil (SOS) of the indigenous constituent. To that end, joint statements between said group and the National Indigenous Organization of Colombia (Organización Nacional Indígena de Colombia-ONIC) are reviewed as well as the reports presented by the inter-ethnic constituent to the ANC.
