The aim of this study is to analyze whether the use of PBL promotes motivation and improved the academic performance in a sample of 106 Occupational Therapy students from University of Malaga. For that, it was incorporated a methodology based onPBLin two subjects and two courses.The results showed significant differences in some items, so that the methodology PBLhelps to motivate students to develop a range of skills and competencies essential in the professional environment.
