Information and communication technologies provided a new scenario for the development of products related to the tourism sector. This article deepens in the nowadays consumer as the central topic of e-tourism and analyzes the demographic and socioeconomic profile of the Internet user who acquires accommodation and travel services without labour purposes through this media. The 2014 Survey on Equipment and Use of ICT in Households, harmonized at European level, has been used. Binary logistic regression was applied to a national sample of 2,907 potential tourists.
