The aim of this article is to analyze the Audiencia of Lima and its ministers during the rebellion of Gonzalo Pizarro in the Viceroyalty of Peru (1544-1548). Considering the prosopographical study, the private life and professional performance of the court's judges is reconstructed. The intention of this work is to rescue the individual and collective participation of these ministers in one of the most critical moments and seizures occurring during the early sixteenth century in the southern Andes. It reveals, therefore, the interference of the lawyers in the armed conflict with the authorities of the king, being the hearers a fundamental part of Pizzarro's uprising.
