Algunas consideraciones sobre el embarazo en la adolescencia

A bibliographic review was carried out with the objective of deepening some aspects related to adolescent pregnancy, its behavior at national and international level, social conditions that determine it and its repercussion on maternal, child morbidity and mortality. The information obtained from the bibliography was reflected through the descriptive method. This work will contribute to encourage health professionals to carry out promotion and prevention actions with the conscientious involvement of the family, the school and the community, in addressing issues of sex education and prevention of pregnancies at these ages.Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de profundizar en algunos aspectos relacionados con el embarazo adolescente, su comportamiento a nivel nacional e internacional, condiciones sociales que lo determinan y su repercusión en la morbimortalidad materno infantil. La información obtenida de la bibliografía consultada se reflejó a través del método descriptivo. Este trabajo contribuirá a incentivar a los profesionales de la salud a llevar a cabo acciones de promoción y prevención con la implicación concienzuda de la familia, la escuela y la comunidad, en el abordaje de temas de educación sexual y la prevención de embarazos a estas edades
