A retrospective longitudinal descriptive study was conducted with the aim of describing the behavior of severe malaria in patients under 14 who were attended in the Emergency Hospital Libolo, Kwansa Sul, Angola, from March to December 2014. The age group, sex, days between onset of symptoms and emergency assistance to the bank, forms of presentation and mortality by age. Males, from 0 to 4 years of age, most went to the bank's emergency 4 to 7 days of onset of symptoms and the most frequent forms of presentation were the severe anemia and cerebral malaria. The mortality occurred in 1.3%. It was concluded that the disease is a health problem with high morbidity, which needs control tools available for its eradication.Se realizó un estudio d...
