Artificial dentures in Children play an important role, helping to restore masticatory function, aesthetics and preventing malocclusions. A retrospective, observational, descriptive and longitudinal study was conducted in order to determine the behavior of prosthetic needs children treated at the General Teaching Hospital "Dr. Agostinho Neto" in the period 2012-2014. The study group consisted of 40 children who were studied in full. As studied variables: Age, sex, cause of loss of teeth, dental arch affected arch, type of prosthesis used in the treatment. The predominant age group was 15-17 years and males. Damage to the upper dental arch was the most representative. The most common cause of tooth loss was injuries. The prostheses used for ...
