La importancia del turismo religioso en México

Currently there are many ways to travel through different types of tourism: national and international tourism; Which can be of a traditional type such as family walks, business, camping, exchanges, cruises, in short everything that the tourist needs, and those of an alternative type such as activities that are carried out in direct contact with nature: trekking , Mountaineering, abseiling, horseback riding, speleism, mountain biking, marathons, ironman; The coexistence in indigenous areas, etc., but a new way of traveling is to realize religious tourism that was previously included in tourist packages, and that today through tourism planning it is sought that the religious visitor can develop the role of tourist and become a part Of a new tendency of tourism: of pilgrimage, religious by itself and secular, for them culture is determinant, represent a search and an experience of the sacred. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the importance of religious tourism in Mexico. In this research we used a qualitative descriptive type method with the management of secondary sources. Actualmente existen muchas formas de viajar realizando diferentes tipos de turismo: turismo nacional e internacional; los cuales pueden ser de tipo tradicional como los paseos familiares, negocios, los campamentos, intercambios, cruceros, en fin todo lo que necesite el turista, y los de tipo alternativo tales como las actividades que se realizan en contacto directo con la naturaleza: senderismo, montañismo, rapel, cabalgatas, espeleísmo, ciclismo de montaña, los maratones, los iron man; la convivencia en zonas indígenas, etc., pero una nueva forma de viajar es realizar el turismo religioso que anteriormente se incluía en paquetes turísticos, y que hoy mediante la planeación turística se busca que el visitante religioso pueda desarrollar el papel de turista y forme parte de una nueva tendencia del turismo: de peregrinación, religioso por sí mismo y secular, para ellos la cultura es determinante, representan una búsqueda y una experiencia de lo sagrado.
