The aim of this work is to present a state of the art about the oral communication competence and its importance in pre-service teacher’s training. The methodology used is the literature review. The results present the theoretical frame of an ongoing research, which main purpose is to improve the oral communication skills of the Education (Kindergarten and Primary School) grade students in Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), Spain.
