La reducción del suelo agrícola en la región de Texcoco, Estado de México

The reduction of agricultural land and changing the relationship between state and society encourages the demarcation of the first of its social responsibilities, since the establishment of the neoliberal state. The change of use of agricultural land and increased urban area show that the reduction of this soil is the result of the null value as a natural resource in the shaping of public policies. The aim of the paper is to show the population growth of the municipalities of the region of Texcoco, State of Mexico, and the decrease of agricultural land as a result of the change of the development model implemented by the Mexican authorities. The preservation of agricultural land and activities that characterize can stimulate sustainable development in the municipalities of the region of Texcoco, State of Mexico.La reducción del suelo agrícola y la modificación de la relación entre el Estado y la sociedad fomenta el deslinde del primero en cuanto a sus responsabilidades sociales, debido a la instauración del estado neoliberal. El cambio del uso de suelo agrícola y el incremento del área urbana muestran que la reducción de este suelo es resultado de su nula valoración como un recurso natural en la elaboración de las políticas públicas. El objetivo del documento es mostrar el incremento poblacional de los municipios que conforman la región de Texcoco, Estado de México, y la disminución del suelo agrícola como resultado del cambio del modelo de desarrollo implementado por las autoridades mexicanas. La conservación del suelo agrícola y las actividades que lo caracterizan pueden estimular el desarrollo sustentable en los municipios de la región de Texcoco, Estado de México
