Entre la volatilidad y el afianzamiento del PAN: cambios en la dinámica electoral en Querétaro

On July the 2nd 2006, different electoral processes were held in Querétaro.Without a doubt, the presidential election drew most of the attention and imposed its logic on the rest of the races, opening spaces for the emergence of attractive movements, such as a statewide center-left trend, as well as the consolidation of the PAN (Partido Acción Nacional).This paper identifies the main changes in the voting patterns that altered the trends established in 1997 and 2003. It also offers an analysis based in the concurrent election and studies the results of the different types and levels of elections that took place.El 2 de julio de 2006 se llevaron a cabo distintos procesos electorales en Querétaro. Sin duda, la elección presidencial fue la que atrajo más atención e imprimió su lógica al resto, abriendo espacios para que se suscitaran movimientos sugerentes, como la manifestación de una tendencia centro-izquierda en el estado, a la vez que una consolidación del panismo. En este artículo se identifican los principales cambios en la distribución del voto en función de las tendencias establecidas entre 1997 y 2003. Se ofrece una lectura sustentada en la elección concurrente y se analizan los resultados de los diferentes tipos y niveles de procesos celebrados
