Abstract: The article deals about complexity of Hector Rojas Herazo novel, Respirando el verano. Scenarios are analyzed, temporality and the narrative structure, elements relate to each other in a universe of sense coherent linked to downfall, loneliness and death. Within the scenarios it highlights the house as a symbol of the descent and the offspring, the court which moves the house and welcomes the solitude and death.
