This article proposes a literary analyze that examines the influences of the Baroque period in Francisco Brines (Oliva, 1931), such as the topic of the gaze from the balcony, considering also Marc Richir�s (2006) phenomenological interpretations about Time and Space. Brines� manners and topics can be considered metaphysical or philosophical, but we must not disregard his sensualist approach, that frames his poems in a fragrant Mediterranean landscape.
