El cambio de paradigma en el pensamiento social mexicano a principios del siglo XIX

The article seeks to show the crisis of the monarchical orderand the radical changes in the political organization that hadits critical moments in the completion of independence. Thefall of the fi rst empire and the series of governments thatsucceeded the newly established republic in the fi rst decadesof the 19th Century, forced them to change the dominantconcept through which they understood the social order.The logic applied to interpret it and that made them seethe monarchy or the viceroy as the center that determinedeverything happening in its territory, was substituted byone that desecrated the power and demanded to seek thelegitimacy of the new order through a deliberative processto win over public opinion.El artículo pretende mostrar que la crisis del orden monárquicoy los cambios radicales en la organización del poderpolítico, que tuvieron sus momentos críticos en la consumaciónde la Independencia, la caída del Primer Imperio y laserie de gobiernos que se sucedieron en las primeras décadasdel siglo XIX, obligaron a cambiar el paradigma medianteel cual se pensaba el orden social. La lógica que había sidoaplicada para interpretarlo y que hacía ver en el monarcao el virrey el centro que determinaba todo lo que ocurría en elterritorio fue sustituida por una que desacralizaba el podery obligaba al pensamiento a buscar la legitimidad del nuevoorden en la aprobación de una opinión pública.
