La filosofía antihegemónica de Álvaro Márquez-Fernández: Un aporte a la ética latinoamericana

This paper seeks to study the thought of the Latin-American philosopher Álvaro Márquez-Fernández from an antihegemonic perspective of power and its relation to the ethics of Latin-American liberation. His continuous reflection considers the political and ethical interaction between citizenship, society and State as a trivium which must form part of the analysis of hegemony in regards to the expression of the dominant power of Modernity’s instrumental rationality. What is sought, thus, is the creation of cultural and historical conditions for the sociopolitical transformations required by the State in Latin America in order to consolidate, in justice and solidarity, the social order. With this start-point, the Venezuelan thinker assumes an antihegemonic philosophy as a liberating praxis that opposes the power of rationality in its function and condition of force to oppress and dominate. In such a way, an antihegemonic philosophy becomes a political and theoretical practice that restores the entire exercise of its powers to citizenship, and it allows to redesign, ethically and politically, the power of the State to the be nefit of a plural society for all. Key words: Álvaro Márquez-Fernández, Hegemony, Antihegemonic Philosophy, Latin-American Ethics.En este trabajo de investigación se realiza un estudio del pensamiento del filósofo latinoamericano Álvaro Márquez-Fernández, desde la perspectiva antihegemónica del poder y su relación con la ética de la liberación latino americana. En su constante reflexión, considera la interacción política y ética, entre ciudadanía, sociedad y Estado como un trivium que debe formar parte del análisis de la hegemonía en tanto que expresión del poder dominante de la racionalidad instrumental de la Modernidad. Se trata, entonces, de crear las condiciones culturales e históricas para las transformaciones sociopolíticas que requiere el Estado en América Latina, a fin de consolidar un orden social más justo y solidario. A partir de allí, este pensador asume la filosofía antihegemónica como una praxis liberadora que se contrapone al poder de la racionalidad en su función y condición de fuerza para oprimir y dominar³. Por lo que la filosofía antihegemónica deviene en una teoría y práctica políticas que recupera para la ciudadanía el ejercicio pleno de sus poderes, y permite reconfigurar, ética y políticamente, el poder del Estado en beneficio de una sociedad plural para todos
