The heterogeneous gramatical nature of the adverb constitutes a special category within the Romance languages, particular the forms in -mente (ly). While the grammaticalization of this type of adverb has not been fully resolved in the Spanish language, it has effectively occurred in Judeo-Spanish, as can be observed from the analysis of the solution that different words in -mente (as adverbial categorizer) adopt in different Sephardic texts analyzed for this article.
