La crisis económica y el turismo internacional en España

The economic crisis has significantly affected the different sectors of the Spanish economy, although to varying degrees. In this paper, we attempt to analyze the response of the Spanish tourism sector given the circumstances, emphasizing the resistance and strength of the sector, mainly due to the diversity of its offer, which while focuses on the sun and beach on the coast, has as maximum exponents the rural, nature, cultural or urban tourism, as a complement of the above, or as the main resource in inland. We concluded by showing that while the crisis has affected international tourism in Spain, the impact has been very limited in times, starring in recent years a spectacular growth. La crisis económica ha afectado de forma significativa a los distintos sectores de la economía española, si bien en distinta medida. En este artículo se trata de analizar su repercusión sobre el sector turístico español, donde queda patente su extraordinaria resistencia y fortaleza, sobre todo debido a la diversidad de su oferta, que si bien se centra en el sol y playa en el litoral, tiene como máximos exponentes el turismo rural, de naturaleza, cultural o urbano como complemento del anterior, o como principal recurso en las localidades del interior. Se concluye poniendo de manifiesto que si bien la crisis ha afectado al turismo internacional en España, ese impacto se ha limitado bastante en el tiempo, protagonizando en los últimos años un espectacular crecimiento.
