This study estimates the parameters for the proper operation of each one of the process stages (compression, cooling, and separation) in an existing gas processing plant, which processes 1.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). The study also proposes changes in some existing operational equipment to maximize the production of naphtha, which translates into an improved efficiency in each analyzed stage and an improved production rate of fuel gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and naphtha, which are current products of the plant.
