El desafío de la policía bonaerense en la década de 1890: entre la expansión institucional y el estancamiento de sus recursos.

This work is focused in the management of resources, especially in the budgetary, toward the police force in a context of strong questions and political tensions. To do this, we emphasize the tensions that arose between the executive and legislative power in relation to police institutional designs, and the manner in which the allocation of responsibilities and budgets became an element to weaken the government forces. Simultaneously, we recover the voices of the own police agents in order to identify how they responded to these questions, defining their own representations and institutional areasEste artículo se detiene en las gestiones de recursos, principalmente presupuestarios, hacia la policía en un contexto de marcados cuestionamientos y tensiones políticas. Para ello, enfatizamos las tensiones acaecidas entre el poder ejecutivo y el poder legislativo en relación a los diseños institucionales policiales, y la manera en que la asignación de funciones y presupuestos se constituyó en un elemento para debilitar a las fuerzas gubernamentales. Simultáneamente, recuperamos las voces de los propios agentes policiales a fin de identificar la manera en que respondieron a esos cuestionamientos, definiendo sus propias representaciones y esferas institucionales
