The aim of the study was to determine the potential distribution of natural pine forest of Pinus tropicalis according to the current climatic conditions. We georeferenced 1346 natural stand along with 19 bioclimatic variable to modeling under MaxEnt (Maximum Entropy) generating a probabilities map of suitable habitats. The better contributors' variables were the changes in the seasonal precipitation from 243-792mm and the annual regimen of minimum temperature of the coolest period 18.3ºC-23.1ºC.
