Mujeres en espacios políticos. Debate en torno a la secretaría de turismo del estado de México

Women have been gradually interested in politics scenarios that is why they have become a fundamental part in political and administrative systems, particularly in areas where their functions are as sociated to “women’s interests“ ; even though, there is a differentiated mechanism the way they have accessed to power and the decision making regarding men. The study case of the Secretariat of Tourism of the State of Mexico, demonstrate a family connection or a close link between the Secretariats and the groups of power; the membership into the party that is ruling and that has control over the State of Mexico, giving them a continuity in their hegemony and restricting the possibility of gender perspective within tourism policyLa mujer se ha insertado de manera paulatina al escenario político, particularmente en áreas de los sistemas político-administrativos cuyas funciones en términos normat ivos están asociadas con “intereses propios de mujeres”. Pese a este aparente avance, existe un mecanismo diferenciado respecto a los hombres en la forma en que éstas han accedido al poder y a la toma de decisiones, como es el caso de estudio de la Secretaría de Turismo del Gobierno del Estado de México, donde los resultados evidencian una conexión entre el nombramiento de las titulares de esas áreas con su parentesco u otro vínculo con integrantes de los grupos de poder; su militancia en el partido que ha mantenido la hegemonía y el control político en el Estado de México. Ello ha dado continuidad a la ideología predominante y restringido la posibilidad de incluir la perspectiva de género en la política turística
