Situated in the Brazilian Northeast region, with about 92% of its territory under semi-arid climatic conditions, the state of Ceará has natural potential that can be made viable economically by geotourism, new aspect of nature tourism, providing a viable alternative beyond the traditional seas ide tourism held in the State.
