In recent years, and in the context of globalization, wineries in the Old World underwent important changes: The increased heritagization of the winescapes and of their tangible and intangible components (architecture, wine traditions) combined with the intervention of iconic artists and renowned architects, with the launch of events, with the arrival in the vineyards of the personalities of the show business, etc. These changes invite us to consider the new winescape as a paradigmatic landscape of more general mutations in hypermodern Western societies.
