Lesões musculoesqueléticas em jogadores de futebol durante o campeonato Paraense de 2013

Musculoskeletal injuries of professional footvall players during the Paraense Cup of 2013The study aims to analyze the musculoskeletal injuries of professional football players in a club in Belém-Pará, Brazil during the state championship in the year of 2013. For this, it was performed a cross-sectional study that examined 25 athletes from football field of Paysandu Sport Club through a questionnaire containing 15 questions of the closed type, this was answered directly by respondents. It was investigated physical information such as weight and height, and professional information about the training and tournament games. From the respondents athletes, nine (36%) reported injuries during the championship. The most cited are sprained ankle, sprained knee, and thigh strain and back pain (18.18% each). The majority of these injuries occurred during training (54.55%), by direct contact and repetitive movement (36.4%) in players aged between 21 and 25 years (77.8%), and midfielders were the most affected (44.44%). The results corroborate the findings of the literature, in which it is realized that the majority of injuries occur in younger individuals and are kind of bruises and sprains, mainly affecting the lower limbs due to the nature of the sport. Therefore, it was concluded that the investigation of prevalent injuries in football players is very important for prevention actions.O estudo objetiva analisar as lesões musculoesqueléticas dos atletas de futebol profissional em um clube de Belém do Pará, durante o campeonato estadual do ano de 2013. Para isso, realizou-se um estudo transversal que analisou 25 atletas de futebol de campo do Paysandu Sport Club através de um questionário contendo 15 perguntas do tipo fechado, que foi respondido de forma direta pelos entrevistados. Investigaram-se dados físicos, como peso e altura, e dados profissionais a respeito do treinamento e jogos do torneio. Dos atletas entrevistados, nove (36%) relataram lesões durante o campeonato. As mais citadas são entorse de tornozelo, entorse de joelho, distensão de coxa e lombalgia (18,18% cada). A maioria dessas lesões ocorreu durante treinamentos (54,55%), por contato direto e movimento repetitivo (36,4%), em jogadores com idade entre 21 e 25 anos (77,8%), sendo os atletas de meio de campo os mais acometidos (44,44%). Os resultados corroboram com os achados da literatura, nos quais se percebe que a maioria das lesões ocorre em indivíduos mais jovens e são do tipo contusões e entorses, afetando principalmente membros inferiores devido a natureza do esporte. Conclui-se, portanto, que a investigação das lesões prevalentes em jogadores de futebol tem grande importância para trabalhos de prevenção.
