During Spring .Summer season in 2001 experiments of normal and highquality protein maize were conducted in four locations in theVeracruz State (Cotaxtla, Papantla, Isla and San AndresTuxtla) and Huimanguillo in Tabasco State, to evaluate theiryield and agronomic characteristics and to define theiradaptability under these environments. Thus, the experimentswere stablished under alpha lattice designs 4 x 8 with 32entries and two replications, in plots with two 5 m long rowsand 80 cm between them.
