A psicologia comunitária e a conquista das políticas públicas

This article presents the experience of trainees in Community Psychology in the community of Muzema, located on the city of Rio de Janeiro. An ethnography-based method was used, and through the participant observation in the community and the creation of a children’s reading group, a deep understanding of territorial relationships was aimed. Semi-structured interviews with women were also conducted to understand the demands of the population and to reflect on contemporary culture. We present this study in three stages: first, we briefly show the theoretical basis for the work, through a perspective in critical and historic psychology; in the second stage, we present the clinical and communal experience with children; and in the third one, we discuss the interviews made. We conclude that the children’s reading group can be seen as a “device” that promotes processes that allow them to become singular subjects and that can also support the implementation of public policies. The interviews show, in its intersubjectivity, the dialogue with the other, with who is not recognized as a citizen, using the power of the muted voices of the minorities.O artigo apresenta a experiência com estagiários em Psicologia Comunitária na localidade de Muzema, no Rio de Janeiro. Foi utilizado um método de base etnográfica, com observação participante na comunidade e a montagem de um grupo de leitura com crianças, buscando uma compreensão aprofundada das relações do território. Também foram realizadas entrevistas com mulheres para compreender as demandas da população e refletir sobre a cultura contemporânea. Apresentamos este estudo em três momentos: no primeiro, mostramos brevemente o suporte teórico, ancorado na psicologia crítica e histórica. No segundo momento, apresentamos a experiência clínica e comunitária com crianças. No terceiro, foram discutidas as entrevistas. Conclui-se que o grupo de leitura infantil pode ser analisado como um “dispositivo”, promovendo processos de singularização e podendo, também, subsidiar a implementação de políticas públicas. As entrevistas deixaram emergir, na intersubjetividade, o diálogo com o outro, com aquele que não é reconhecido como cidadão, fazendo valer a potência das vozes emudecidas das minorias.
