The article reports on the suitability of some facets of prospective teachers’ didactic - mathematical knowledge who taught their Pedagogical Practice in a school located in an urban conflict-affected low income context. The research deals with the didactic suitability of two facets of the teacher didactic mathematical knowledge: the affective and ecological dimensions. Six senior student-teachers from the Baccalaureate in in mathematics education program at Universidad de Antioquia participated in this study. An open problem is to research the context effect on these two facets and the relationship among the former and the remaining facets.
