Borges e a tradução.

In this paper I will show a little of the borgian thought on/concerning translation. In order to do that I will use, in chronological order, the following texts of the author: “Las dos maneras de traducer” (1926), “Las versions homéricas” (1932), “Los traductores de las mil y una noches” (1934), “Pierre Menard, autor Del Quijote” (1939) and “El enigma de Edward Fitzgerald” (1951). Along with that I will make approximations between the way of thinking or Borges and the way of thinking of some translation theorists: Schleiermacher, Benjamin, Leopardi. Keywords: Borges, translation, theory.Neste artigo procurarei mostrar um pouco do pensamento borgiano, no que se refere à tradução. E para isso utilizarei cronologicamente os seguintes textos do autor: “Las dos maneras de traducir” (1926), “Las versiones homéricas” (1932), “Los traductores de las mil y una noches” (1934), “Pierre Menard, autor Del Quijote” (1939) e “El enigma de Edward Fitzgerald” (1951).
